About Neeley Forestry

We were founded in 1972 by Jim Neeley as a sole practitioner with a client base of 20,000 acres. Today, we manage over 200,000 acres for 400 clients in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. Our professional staff includes four registered foresters, with over 200 years of experience in the forestry profession. We also have two licensed Certified General Appraisers, one State Registered Apprentice Appraiser, and four licensed Real Estate agents on staff.

Neeley Forestry Service offers a broad spectrum of services to our clients, including timberland management, oversight of silvicultural improvements, inventory and acquisition cruises, appraisals, timber and timberland sales, hunting lease administration, wildlife management, and group forest certification. Our clients include banks, law firms, accounting firms, trust departments, timber companies, and non-industrial private landowners.

JD and his son Daniel have always been "outdoorsmen", traveling to many states in pursuit of deer, turkey, elk, mule deer and waterfowl. This experience has greatly aided them while helping investors and outdoor enthusiast buy or sell timberland.
